First Equity Modaraba was floated in end 1991. Its initial paid-up capital fund was Rs.200 have increased to Rs 524 million by stock dividends of Rs 62 million and issuance of Right certificate at 100%.

The Modaraba has so far distributed Rs. 62 million in stock dividends and Rs. 482 million in cash dividends. The net asset value of the Modaraba stands at Rs. 9.91 per certificate at June 30, 2006.
